  I'm reading the reviews and it's unfortunate that I do not feel the same way. I'm sure that Dr. Stark is a great surgeon (I wouldn't know at this point) but his office demeanor and rates are what sparked this review. $275 base rate for a 10-minute office visit is unethical. I also found that during that 10 minutes, I was the one asking questions. There was a sort of arrogance about him and I left feeling like I wasn't totally clear on all of my options and what would work best for me. Additionally, when I checked in during one visit, someone else checked in to see him with the same appointment time. I really hope that this was not a case of double-booking for profitable reasons because, as I stated, I had 10 minutes with him. Shortly after my first visit, I had an episode of severe pain that started in my left knee (the injured one) and went all the way to my hip. I couldn't put any weight on it and was also running a fever for 2 days. I called the office, very concerned, and was only able to speak to a PA, not Dr. Stark, who said that she did not think it was related to my knee issue. It's just disappointing that personal care and concern is scarce anymore. Profitability is the goal and that's the impression I received with this office.
